Lobbyist Registration Program

The City Council of the City of Anaheim adopted Ordinance No. 6417 adding Chapter 1.11 (Sunshine provisions) to Title 1 of the Anaheim Municipal Code requiring an individual who receives compensation of $500 or more in a calendar month for lobbying the City of Anaheim, or any regional agency in which Anaheim has a voting role, must register with the City Clerk as a lobbyist.

Lobbyist Registration Information


All Lobbyists must register, by filing a Lobbyist Registration form, with the Office of the City Clerk within fifteen (15) days of lobbying the City of Anaheim or any regional agency in which Anaheim has a voting role (list of regional agencies in which Anaheim has a voting role). Lobbyists are required to submit a registration fee of $100.00. Fees are due with submission of the completed Lobbyist Registration form.

Lobbyist Quarterly Reports of Activity 


Lobbyists will be required to file a Lobbyist Quarterly Report of Activity with the Office of the City Clerk disclosing any lobbying of the City of Anaheim or any regional agency in which Anaheim has a voting role, as well as report any campaign contributions made during the reporting period to the Mayor or any City Council Member. Late submittal of Lobbyist Registration Form and/or Quarterly Report may result in a late filing penalty of $50.00.
